SH5 crew not shooting airplanes

My question is ''why won't the crew shoot at the air planes''
Fire at will is on, any airplane targets
''what am I doing wrong, or how does the crew, in dealing with airplanes
set another way
of course I can dive, BUT,, I just want the crew to attempt to shoot��‍♂️��

Happy New Year to you too! As for the question, did you order crew to man AA gun?

I think you have to load the AA gun first before they can use it the first time. That means you have to select the type of shell they will fire.
