4K resolution - too small interface. Help!

Hello!

I have a problem. My monitor died yesterday, and I was forced to plug in my 4k monitor. everything is great but the interface is extra small :((( I am using TMO overhaul with of course base game + uboat missions.

Any mod for this guys? Please advice!

Thank You.

P.S: All in all things could be ok BUT: in TMO the chronometer (clock) is half way hidden to the right side of the screen in original 1920x1080. So on higher resollution it is completly outside of the screen. What should I do now? Damn!

i'll try and find some other recent posts that relate.
you may get better results if you try a Google search and include SH4 and Subsim with whatever keyword you think is appropriate.

You don't have to run the game at 4k. I can't see squat sometimes, even at 1920x1080... I have a 4k monitor, and I'm running the game at 2560x1440, and that is much better than anything above that, yet gives more fov than 1920x1080, which is still a good bit of real estate to look at. The problem with the clock is the resolution ratio. TMO was built for 4:3 resolutions, such as 1024x768, and of course, you're running "wide screen". The display "scales" to the vertical, not horizontal dimension, which is why the clock is over there. You might be able to guess where the "move" button is though, and drag it over to the left.

Thank You for help, but I am affraid I can't do anything with the clock. Even on 1920x1080 in TMO it is moved halfway out the right side of the screen :( and I just tested it in 2k. All good but clock is gone :( All I need for now is that dang clock back, and probably the gramophone and radio too. Any other thoughts guys?

Thanks.

At 1920x1080, take your mouse a bit off-screen near the top of the clock, click and drag back left, and try to drag it over. It might take quite a few tries. The game apparently does not save the position though when you exit, so you'll need a mod, or which I have no idea what to recommend... either do a mod yourself, as KM suggested, or experiment with jimimadrid's mods. He might have updated the clock in his recent works.
