Atolls & Allies Update

Dear friends, it has been too long. It has been 4 months since I got caught up in exercising, and re-enacting & other CW stuff; meanwhile the fight against Hirohito has been neglected. But no more!

I am working on completing the sub-net atolls in the western Pacific, at which point I hope to be ready to release Atolls & Allies 1.0. After that, the plan is to do the atolls in the Spratleys and Paracels, and finish overhauling the Us naval base progression.

Great news! Been looking forward to this and I was getting worried!

I am "finishing up" a 1.0 version. I figure it will have about 80% of the needed terrain changes, and up to 100% of the needed unit placement changes (optimism!).

If somebody is good at 3D modelling... I could really use a version of the "Small Pacific Harbor IV" without the piers sticking out. A lot of significant ports (eg. Freemantle and Brisbane) were in rivers, but replicating this has been difficult as all the harbor models rely heavily on piers; this makes the rivers nearly un-navigable. Also, I would love to have the breakwaters from both ends of the "Small Pacific Harbor II" model as stand-alone models (esp without lighthouses). Effective breakwaters are sorely lacking in the game, leaving harbors wide-open to long-range torpedo attacks. If you have a minute to model, one or both of these little modifications would be a boon to realism, and would earn my great thanks.

Sorry to rip up old threads, but was this mod ever released in any way?
