Incredibly slow game launch
 

I just bought the game off Steam. Launch is fine past choosing a campaign, difficulty, captain etc. When I try to launch into the actual game the screen hangs there. I waited over an hour. It eventually minimizes to desktop then I have to ctrl/alt/del to exit from the game. I've tried checking integrity of files and uninstalled it then reinstalled in my E drive. The same thing happens.

I'm running Win7.

Win 7 but what are your other sys specs? I just built a new pc with a Ryzen 9 5900x, 32 gb ram & 12 gb of gpu ram, game launches real fast :)

What are your system specs? In particular:
- How much free disk space do you have?
- How much RAM does your PC have?
- What settings are you using for Windows virtual memory?


Have you installed the latest updates for Windows and your graphics card?

Have you tried verifying your game files?
In Steam, right-click on UBOAT, click "Properties", then go to "Local Files", then click "Verify integrity of game files".
