Casablanca Mission.

My fellow Kaleuns,
I am looking for the mission "Casablanca" by Dominico Baggio, which involves sinking the George V Battleship with Churchill on board.
It is a very old mission from 2007 or thereabouts, and so I cannot find a working link!
Does anybody have a working link to or this mission?
Many thanks if you can help.

Casablanca Mission

U-301, I have that Mission, slightly revised as 4301 Casablanca in English. It is the Churchill King George V Battleship mission. All 218 of my Single Missions were renamed to reflect the year and month of the mission. Send me your email via private message and I'll be glad to send it your way. Cheers

Recessional

By Rudyard Kipling

1897

God of our fathers, known of old,

Lord of our far-flung battle-line,

Beneath whose awful Hand we hold

Dominion over palm and pine—

Lord God of Hosts, be with us yet,

Lest we forget—lest we forget!

The tumult and the shouting dies;

The Captains and the Kings depart:

Still stands Thine ancient sacrifice,

An humble and a contrite heart.

Lord God of Hosts, be with us yet,

Lest we forget—lest we forget!

Far-called, our navies melt away;

On dune and headland sinks the fire:

Lo, all our pomp of yesterday

Is one with Nineveh and Tyre!

Judge of the Nations, spare us yet,

Lest we forget—lest we forget!

If, drunk with sight of power, we loose

Wild tongues that have not Thee in awe,

Such boastings as the Gentiles use,

Or lesser breeds without the Law—

Lord God of Hosts, be with us yet,

Lest we forget—lest we forget!

For heathen heart that puts her trust

In reeking tube and iron shard,

All valiant dust that builds on dust,

And guarding, calls not Thee to guard,

For frantic boast and foolish word—

Thy mercy on Thy People, Lord! :salute:

For some reason there can be an occasional ctd but I have not figured out why.
It's still a great mission when it works.

CTDs on Single Mission

U301/Foz, in my opinion, there should be no reason for a single mission to CTD, unless that mission is calling for a Sea, Air or Land unit that is not present in your Mod setup.

Since the Casablanca mission is a GWX-compliant mission, if your Mod setup is anything other than GWX, the mission could CTD when it calls for a unit that either does not exist or is of a different Class or Type in your Mod setup.

One way to determine this is to go through the Casablanca mission and compare each unit in the mission with your British roster of units in your Mod setup (Sea, Air and Land). If there were different country units involved (not the case with Casablanca), you would have to check those rosters as well. I would also check for the correct Class and Type of each specific unit, since these can be slightly different from one Supermod to another.

If you find some differences, you can modify the Single mission to the units that you do have in your Mod setup. For example, if you did not have the FFRiverClass unit, you could change that to a similar unit that you do have, making sure to change the Class and Type of the unit accordingly. Hope this helps.

There are two B24 in this mission, and they don't have the same type number:

Class=LBB24Liberator
Type=302

Class=LBB24Liberator
Type=301

The type must be 302 (for GWX)!!!! 301 is for vanilla.

My Mistake on Casablanca

Sorry guys, that was my mistake. You are absolutely right that both of the LBB24Liberators in the Casablanca mission should be Type 302. The original mission from April 2005 which I attempted to make GWX-compliant last December had differences with the FFRiverClass name (not DERiver) and type 2 (not 3), the CBBunkerMedium type 408 (not 403) and the LBB24Liberator type 302 (not 301). I must have overlooked that last one.

I'm in the process of double-checking all of the Single Missions I have collected, to make sure they are in fact totally GWX-compliant. This as you may know, entails checking on every Air, Land, Sea and Submarine unit for the GWX correct Class Names, Types, Country Origin and Dates of availability for that Country. With over 300 some Single missions now, this is going to take awhile. Cheers
