You definitely do not want to be using such an old NewUI
The later NewUI's like 7-42 and the latest 7-5-0 version 18 should always be used.

You need to post your mod list please so I can understand what is going on.

Oh yes I want to use my old stuff ! This is because my tuned "old NewUI" is, to my taste, far better than all the new versions I have tested so far these days, since I came back to SH5 a week ago.

Very kind of you, but as a former programmer, I have some ideas about modding games and speaking of JSGME, I have even helped his author, in the old time, when he was in the beginning of the development of this nice tool. Of course you couldn't know all this !

Posting the list of my mods won't be useful at all, because they are almost all private tweaked mod's I have made myself. But don't worry, my SH5 run like a charm ! Much better than the elephant called Wolf of Steel, to say !

Now, speaking of my idea to add a recon manual to my UI, I just finished my in deep investigation and I renounce. Maybe TheDarkWraith could have mastered this, but maybe even not, after all this time.

Yes, you can assume this ! LOL ! As I said, I have some knowledge in this area. So don't worry ! But again, you couldn't know that before !

Yes, I have started to test it and sorry to say that, but so far I positively DON'T LIKE AT ALL, what I have seen and experienced.

Nevertheless, I will continue to test this elephant ! Especially the game behaviors. Maybe I will found some interesting feature to merge into my SH5 !

Speaking of the impossibility to end a patrol from a game save, I will maybe open a new thread, because it is definitively not the right place to discuss this problem. Now, if you have personally a knowledge on how to overturn this problem (maybe by editing some files of the save), you may give it to me.

i think that TDW added his soan recognition in later version of his UI... till then the stock SH5 recognition was used...

did u tried this one for recognition manual ?? if yup and doesn't work let me know i may have some old recognition manuals for TDW's UI and i will upload them for u

about of the impossibility to end a patrol from a game save read your pm maybe will help... i know that helps for the tonnage bar... idk if helps in your problem i never had that problem... i cannot talk here about that fix it's agains the rules

Unfortunately, this link is no more affected to this mod. It belong now to "the_berm.zip", which is obviously not this mod.

So, if you can upload some old one which were supposed to be compatible with old TDW UI version (the base of my UI is TDW 4.4.0).

Here is my problem.
I installed NewUIs_TDC_7_1_0_ByTheDarkWraith and it works very well.

After that i put NewUIs_TDC_7_4_2_ByTheDarkWraith and then
NewUIs_TDC_7_5_0_ByTheDarkWraith and i have same issue
1.Instead of charts i see black picture
2.Recognition manual dont work.Right page change information but left page remain always on same boat picture (didnt change picture according with info on the right).

If i put again NewUIs_TDC_7_1_0_ByTheDarkWraith i can see charts but the issue with manual recognition remain.So i reinstall SH5.
I dont understand why JSGME cannot remove very well the mod.

I mention that i have only this mod.

Do i need TDW_GenericPatcher in order to make this mod to work?

This is however an essential application for SH5 so it does need to be installed.

You should consider installing The Wolves of Steel (TWoS) mega mod which has become an essential part of Silent hunter 5 game play and comes with over 100 mods and is 100% ctd free.

Ive no idea, but ive followed the instructions to the letter.
I get this ugly black box with USER CHARTS.
I can move the box but Im sure its not supposed to be like that.
Theres a few other button that dont work when I click on them


I run SH5 in admin.
My system is more than capable of running SH5
It happens on Just this mod or running the WoS mod.


It happens on both:

NewUIs_TDC_7_5_0_TheDarkWraith

Open it.

One comment : in periscopic depth, I can hear the siren of the nearest boat, muted...
Maybe the previous version is more stable (?)

From the conning tower, if I click on the "emergency dive" image, I am teleported to the radio room - funny but unpleasant.
Where is the solution ?
