Game Crashes at Campaign Start

Hey everyone, I am running the steam version of SH5 with TWoS 2.2.25. No other mods are activated. The game loads fine and I can go through the load screen for a campaign but before I can continue where I left off before I installed the mod, the screen turns black and crashes to desktop. Im running no other mods besides this one. Unfortunately, I cannot post pictures on this computer.

Any thoughts?

You need to update the game to version 1.2.
Find the "SH5UpdateSteam.exe" file in The Wolves of Steel folders.
Run it and wait for the operation to finish. Then close the cmd window. :salute:

So I was curious, started a new campaign....it works! So now my question is, do I really have to start over? I liked the progress I had in the vanilla version and contributed a lot of hours already, I hate to have to start from the beginning again.

You will have to start all over again. It doesn't work any other way. Before launching a new campaign, read the TWoS instructions in detail. :salute:

Using the steam version with the generic patch. The installation seemed fine, when I am in game, the depth/speed indicator controls at the bottom of the left do nothing if I click on them. Is that normal, because shortcut keys work, but none of the actual ui does.

Greetings Commanders:Kaleun_Salute:

Doing an installation according to the manual and following the advice of developers and players I always get the same bug with TWOS, not exceeding x128 time and not exceeding most times x32 I always get the same bug, year 1940, a lone enemy destroyer detects me and chases me constantly all the time and it is impossible to evade me, it accompanies me all the way to port. has it happened and what do you recommend? Thank you, best regards. Good luck with the loot.

I just save and load, always fixes it for me. I'm in 1941 with no problems.

Good luck out there, sink them all!

Hello everyone, I have a small question - I noticed that in the captain’s log the timestamp has been displayed as zeros lately. There is a date in the body of the message, and the tonnage is also included in the calculation. If it doesn't affect anything, I won't give it any importance. But what if this indicates some kind of error that has crept into my TWoS build? I did not install any mods that would affect the campaign.

Thank you, I did as you wrote.

but unfortunately, in the following missions this zero again and again. If it doesn't affect the game, then I won't edit saves every time.

What kind of problem could this be? First time I encountered thisю
WO only, the dialogue of the other officers is fine. And with this too, when he descends from the bridge during a dive.

This is what happens when I run the exe. I am 99% certain I have done everything to a T.

What might be the problem?
