When I try to open the file w/ zipgenius I'm getting an "Invalid Floating Point" error message... :hmm:
I'm trying the v1.5 file... Is there a problem with the file as I've had no previous problems with files of this type and zipgenius previously. I really want this Mod!!! |

THANKS! |
I'm running
REL_TriggerMaru_Overhaul RSRDC_TMOv14_V370 diverate Natural Sinking Mechanics 3.3 Classic NSM3.3_hardcore_torpedo_mod I found an unescorted shokaku in the Bungo Suido (found it right between the Bungo and Suido text on the map) in mid January 44. It was zig-zagging (constant helming) and going between 10-15 knots. Is something funky going on with my install where the carrier was unescorted? Or did I luck out finding this sucker unescorted near a harbor? Incidentally, I put 7 torpedoes into her from about 700 yards. She rolled until half the deck was underwater and continued on at about 3 knots for another 2-3 hours. I was out of torpedoes and no other Japanese were in the area so I surfaced and plugged her with the deck gun for about 30 minutes until she sank (you'd think someone would have come to help the carrier, but I wasn't going to ask questions :) ). Got the hell out of dodge and back home with my first capital ship sunk ever. I wasn't about to let that one get away even if I had to ram it. |
*EDIT* Seems to work fine now after dl'ing again. :)

Hello there, new poster.
Hello there,
Long time SH fan, first time poster. Quick question, I am running RSRD 3 on a stock 1.5 install. I was curious: what triggers the end of a campaign normally. I'm on my second patrol, and have sunk maybe 20,000 Tons. I have visited Midway twice for fuel and new torpedos, but the radio messages keep sending me more objectives. How do I trigger subpac to authorize a RTB? |

Just wondering...
South of Japan, I have been running into what I think are merchants spawning over each other - i.e. ships literally start inside each other and gradually separate (sometimes when I fire at them), then move on the same course (so I assume they are either originally supposed to travel together, or they are two ships spawned simultaneously by the same group). Is that a stock (i.e. hard-code) issue or something in the layers causing them? Only happened a couple of times to me, but I did raise an eyebrow over them! |

RSRDC Patch Readme
This is a required patch for all versions of RSRDC. It corrects a number of problems with some of the campaign files. Also it corrects potential CTD problems with the Sh.sdl with TMO SP1a. As an added bonus, have added Type IX U-boat from TMO SP2, this AI U-boat is based on the work of nautilus42 and modified by Ducimus. During development of Operation Monsun, I noted that 3 U-boats (U168, U183 & U537) were sunk by US/Dutch Submarines in the Java Sea during 1944/45. Have added a new campaign layer that adds all the U-boat operations within the area covered by RSRDC. You will see some “Ultra” intel message traffic about some of the movements of these German submarines Also added are two “single” missions that cover the sinking of U183 & U537. Tactical notes about the Type IX: Don’t count on your surface search radar to detect theses subs. The only detections you will see are “Visual” and “Hydrophones”; therefore if “Ultra” intel gives you “tipper” information and once you get on stations, you’re going to want to conduct your search at “PD” Install Instructions: All patches are “roll-ups” so if you have an early patch, deinstall and remove from your system. Always install RSRDC and it’s associated patches last Always use JSGME to install RSRDC plus patches Reference for Monsun missions http://uboat.net/ops/monsun.htm Credit: Ducimus nautilus42 http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showpost.php?p=667498&postcount=1 |
