Jim, your ship is all covered in moss! The pride of the Kriegsmarine must be taken care of better than that! :x

Yes...a quite weird but also effective camo job I suspect :03:

Bernard at work.

Think "salad"..... or highly mobile penicillin manufacturing plant.

Sailor Steve 01-31-12 12:34 AM

Or he took a turn cooking and that's what the crew did over the side.

gmuno 01-31-12 01:48 AM

You don't recognise the genius. That's the Kriegsmarines famed sunrise camouflage. Extremly effective in summer between 0400 and 0430 and that's the best time for some serious fleet manouvers.
At any other time, it seriously sucks, but at the specified time, it's pure genius.

<quickly looks through his collection of highly-classified super-secret uber-unknown documents>

...By George, gmuno, you seem to be right! I stand corrected. :oops:

gmuno 01-31-12 04:15 AM

Thanks guys. You are very kind. :DL

Sailor Steve 02-01-12 10:18 PM

Kind or not, you deserve it. Those are very good pictures. The skin with the 'canning' on the bow helps too. :rock:

u crank 02-02-12 08:38 AM

Thank's Steve, you're kind also. The skin is Anzacmicks' Weathered Type VII, my favorite and I think a work of art. It looks really good up close. Kudos Mr. Anzacmick! :salute:
