This is not good at all.

One thing is that the name of the Jury is public in the State of Georgia, another thing is threatening them.

Many of the users launched direct attacks on the grand jurors - going so far as to share their names and details about their purported social media profiles.

Reminds of Germany. Recently a left "activist" group released names and addresses of AfD members and supporters - with a barely hidden implied call to kill them.

^ Sure.
But "Wir werden sie jagen!" was not nice of the AfD either :03:

The internet sure offers new ways and ideas of criminal activity :hmmm:

At least a half-dozen Democratic electors have signed onto an attempt to block Donald Trump from winning an Electoral College majority, an effort designed not only to deny Trump the presidency but also to undermine the legitimacy of the institution.

The presidential electors, mostly former Bernie Sanders supporters who hail from Washington state and Colorado, are now lobbying their Republican counterparts in other states to reject their oaths — and in some cases, state law — to vote against Trump when the Electoral College meets on Dec. 19.

The only task that gives a state some justification is to defend its borders against external invaders, and this is categorically denied, both in terms of military invaders and illegal migration flows, at least in the case of Germany. With this refusal to work, this state no longer has a right to exist, in my eyes, and it has forfeited any claim to respect and loyalty.

To hell with statism. It is the most powerful and vicious form of organized crime, and cleverly hides behind a sweetheart mask. To hell with state entities - ALL of them. Every form of state leads sooner or later to dictatorship - EVERY ONE. Every state is every free man's deadliest enemy. The state is the violator of contracts, but you cannot sue it. The state is the violator of its own laws, but you cannot hold it accountable. The state is the breaker of rules it imposes on everbyody, but you cannot bring it to justice. The state is the maker of rules that maximse its profits and minimize defences against abusive behaviour by the state. The state is the designer of laws that are designed to make it untouchable in its criminal nature.

That's why I wouldn't even lift my little finger from the tabletop and lower it again to defend Germany. There are things worth fighting for, qualities, ideals, rights. The superwoke socialist unworldly know-it-all Germany of today is not one of them, and deserves only contempt. I am choosy when it comes to using my life. That is wise. We all have only one life, so we should be choosy in whose service we risk it and for what. States are not one of them.

They even view themselves as the ‘elite’.

Which must mean then they look upon us as the Antonyms & Near Antonyms of elite.

It's BS in my opinion.

Get rid of the electoral college, and the U.S. ceases to be a Democratic Republic and officially becomes an Ochlocracy.

I'm sure Putin would approve.

He would wouldn’t he. It’s called the National Popular Vote Movement Democrat loser Hillary Clinton approves of it and Democrat controlled States sure approve too. In fact it is thought they are circumventing the electoral college through a National Popular Vote Compact. I guess that means they really are colluding with Putin, right?

The existing electoral college system is a fundamental element in the federal constitutional arrangements established by the Constitution. Fearing “the tyranny of the majority,” the Founders established a system of government that provides checks and balances designed to restrain the majority and secure minority rights."

"Successful nominees are compelled under this system to present a broad political vision that commands nation-spanning “concurrent majorities” and appeals to the great variety of Americans. ... The NPV initiative would discard the Founders’ intentions in favor of what is consider to be a flawed “majoritarian” presidency that would ill-serve a continent-spanning and profoundly diverse republic."

Why is it that many says If Trump win the 2024 election Ukraine will lose the war,'cause Trump will stop supporting Ukraine.

What if Trump is going to increase the aids a lot more than Biden did
What if Trump take it one step further and put boots on the ground in Ukraine
(not likely, but who knows)

The last thing I heard Trump say about Ukraine was he would try to stop the war using his Jedi powers on Putin and if he refused them. Trump would then shower Ukraine with every weapon in our arsenal. But who knows for sure, political will bends like a reed in the wind regardless of the party. Something else to consider is history. If Trump were to be pro Ukraine certain voters like lemmings will suddenly become anti-Ukraine because, well you know, Trump.

As far as Trump winning elections keep in mind what Biden said: “Well, we just have to demonstrate that he will not take power if he does run. I’m making sure he, under legitimate efforts of our Constitution, does not become the next President again.”

IMO Trump will not be allowed to run for president anyway

Maybe this could be the reason to why they are eager to start these trials before the election starts.

Back to US aid to Ukraine.
Right after I had posted my comment I read in a Danish article who said Circa 55 % in a CNN survey says that USA should stop helping Ukraine. In all 51 % was against it and 48 % was for it.

This number will increase I'm sure it will as the war goes on.

Not 100% sure who exactly this George Conway guy is but he sends an interesting message to Trump.

Quote:

George Conway offered some free legal advice to Donald Trump, but he's probably not going to like what he hears.

The conservative attorney, whose wife led Trump's first presidential campaign and served as a White House adviser throughout most of his term, warned the ex-president that he would not likely win his arguments that he should be immune from prosecution or lawsuits -- and Conway justified his expertise.

"Sorry about the four criminal indictments, and about the civil rape case you lost to my friend E. Jean Carroll," Conway posted on his Truth Social account, tagging the former president.

"I know you’re still real mad at me for finding E. Jean the lawyer she hired to sue you, and about my telling everyone you’re a narcissistic psychopath and stuff," Conway added. "But I can help you on this presidential immunity thing, ‘cause it happens that I know a little about it. You can actually save some of the money you scammed off your supporters and have been using to pay your legal bills."

Conway reminded the former president that he had written the U.S. Supreme Court brief in 1997 that won Paula Jones the right to sue then-president Bill Clinton, and which the court repeatedly cited four years ago when it ruled that Trump had to comply with grand jury subpoenas issued by the Manhattan district attorney's office.

"I know you're really busy with all the criminal cases and had to skip the debate and don't like to read much, so I'll cut to the TL;DR here," Conway said, using the online abbreviation for "too long, didn't read." "Which is that, apart from the fact that you're no longer president – I know you hate to hear it, but you did lose to Sleepy Joe [Biden] and you know it! – you're gonna lose a presidential immunity argument in Georgia for the same reason Clinton lost to Jones and you lost to the Manhattan DA, which also happens to be the same reason why you weren't (and still aren't!) immune from being sued for raping and defaming E. Jean."

"You see, when you did all the bad things you did, you weren't acting within what the Supreme Court calls 'the outer perimeter' of your official duties and responsibilities as president," Conway wrote. "(I know 'perimeter' is a big word for you; think of it as acting like a property line in real estate. Or maybe Vanky can explain it for you?) Turns out that (like the Supreme Court told you!) presidents aren't above the law!"

"And not only were you not acting within the Outer Perimeter of Your Official Responsibilities, you were doing the OPPOSITE of what those Very Important Responsibilities required," Conway continued, using some of Trump's characteristic rhetorical flourishes. "PRESIDENTS ARE SUPPOSED TO STOP COUPS, NOT LEAD THEM!!!!"

"Anyway, hope this little explainer helps," he added. "(I used those Initial Caps and ALL CAPS and exclamation points just for YOU!!) P.S. Have fun at the Fulton County Jail this week. Hope you've been staying off the hamberders for the big mug shot and weigh-in!!"
