Can I ask would you be willing to share this viewer that can convert .J3D to .3ds please, this would be a very handy tool to have for reimporting the models I have made.

Hey guys, I have some 3d modeling skills and am wondering what format Dangerous Waters needs it to be in and what is the process of me replacing an existing model ?

( I don't mean changing the platform just updating an A.I or player 3d model with a better looking 1).

AFAIK there is a plugin for 3DSMax that allows you to convert the DW models to .3ds after extracting them with the uncompress tool and also convert the models you create with 3DS to a model the game recognizes. No idea who has that plugin and where to get it.
