Unfortunately I already did so, but no worries! I'll be back home in 15 days or so and the game as it is will keep my hands full all the way and more! But thanks for the suggestion anyway and, rest assured, it will be one of the first things I'll do! :Kaleun_Salute:

One more thing I love about CW is the music. Most subsims I turn the music off, as it's distracting and I'm usually trying to listen to the sonar. I don't know if it is on purpose but CW's music sounds like a blend of the soundtracks from Tron Legacy and Crimson Tide, and in a good way. It's very atmospheric and adds to the ambiance of the game.

Bah! No music on my boat! Just my torpedoes pinging.

:)

I ALWAYS turn music off in all games. If I hear a music phrase more than twice, the dang thing is ringing in my brain for the next 14 hours keeping me awake, no matter how good or bad the music. Endless repetition is not always a good thing. Some people can't hear the same four notes repeated often enough. Not me.

I have to listen to non repetitive orchestra music to help erase pop and game music minimalism.

I do the same thing PV, with any other game but the background music in this game really adds to the suspense IMO.

You should try Armored Warfare where some woman is screeching at you in the background constantly on what you should be doing next.
I had to turn her off, or ask her to clean the gun barrel, while I accidentally sent a sabot down the barrel to test it. :har: she was so annoying.

AW by the way is dead. It's been in beta for 3 years. I don't recommend it. It's a WOT clone.

Thank you Pv and Wiz33 for sharing your thoughts!
Normally I wouldn't bother anyone with my questions before doing my homework. However, since I'm still on board the ship doing my duties time and Internet resources are limited.
Buying and downloading the game itself required me to assign my poor cadet to go ashore and get me a prepaid sim card which was just enough to complete the previously mentioned task and to watch a few videos on YouTube (since using ship's satellite network for the latter is an absolute no no...). So I was just limited to forums and the occasional Screenshots here and there.
But for the info that you mates provided for me here, one way or the other, made me to decide and act, and for that I'm truly grateful!
Enjoying every minute of the game thus far, by the way! ☺️

Hiya Naftis, welcome to SUBSIM!!

Just a quick question. You mentioned you were on board ship. I was curious what ship you are serving on?

Captain Cruise, thank you for the welcome and a thousand apologies for my very late reply...

I currently serve as chief officer on board an offshore construction support vessel / cable ship.

To OP's question? Yes, it's worth it and if you do not already, I suggest following Jive Turkey Streaming (if not previously mentioned)
