That's what I thought too Mookie; FOX said that and the web page also said that, however it is like the umpire call at a game ....... Neal is the boss and his call.

Happy Hunting!

We don't round up or down, this is just to grab two randomly generated, publicly verifiable numbers.

So, the last two digits before the decimal: http://online.wsj.com/home-page

Understood. Obviously I have no horse in this race (for yesterday anyways), but I thought you were rounding because the Marketwatch link you provided in post 330 did round the index value to the nearest whole number.

Yikes, you're right about that link. So ok, let's use the full version

Probably not. My dad only made it to 84, and that was just last year.

Good morning. Got the market figured out I see.

My Dad made it to just a week before he would have been 85 but his Dad (my Grandfather) almost reached 93. I'm shooting for 100... lol

Wow! neal admiting he was wrong ... mark this day on your calendar for it may never return again (just kidding)

How about this if the stock market is down that day then you could subtract that number from the total of the ones that are left giving us left overs a shot at the prize.

Pretty good, uh? :arrgh!:

Ok, tomorrow begins the final week of drawings. Five more winners will be picked by the free market system (take that, Karl Marx!).

Then I will ask each winner to PM me his current mailing address and will be sending out the prizes. Be sure (in case I forget to ask later) to list your shirt size (S, M, L, XL, Texan L),

Good luck! :ping:

I didn't mean to insult you ... I apologize.

It's just that in ten or more years here it was a rare thing to see.

I am an enlisted man and you sir are an officer and enlisted men should not chide officers (unwritten submarine manual)

Thank you for anything i WON :woot:wow!

Which reminds me of a sea story: It was a normal patrol in the south China sea on a calm night on the nuclear submarine
Ethan Allen working the night shift as the sonar supervisor when the booming voice of the captain comes over the control room/sonar mic,

"Sonar lay to the conn"

I casually got up shaking the head phones off of me and putting my coffee cup in its holder and wandered out to the conn with a
quizzcal look on my face in the dim glow of red lights in control rigged for red on the night watch.

"Yes sir" I meekly called out

The captain glarling at me announces that his sonar repeater, showing our contacts on a crt rigged in orange, was not functioning.

I reached up and flipped the on/off switch on and stood there watching the contacts on the screen come into focus as the unit warmed up.

The captain who had had his back to me turns around and see's what I have done says;

"Thank you Dillon that will be all"

You could tell it was a humbling experience one I will never forget :D
