BTW the mod works with Silent Michal Interiors. You will have SM interiors with dim lights. Ever put it last in your list.

Second BTW: I use SM interiors with TWoS. I have 76 saved games now and no problem. The combination TWoS plus SM plus Rusty Glory is awesome.

There is a good reason why I hesitate to add some mods which adds additional 3D object to the players submarine even if they could be "technically" compatible with TWoS, such as SM Inter., Sub Flags, Sub smoke exhaust, AI sub Crew ect...

You will discover what I'm talking about when you reach, for example, some of the Mediterranean campaigns and when sea starts to "boil" of surrounding air and sea units...:yep: Unfinished and overstretch SH5 engine will hardly deal with it...

However, mods like "Rusted Glory" are perfectly fine because they contain only dds texture files without any additional controllers, 3D objects ect...:yep: I can see that there are few cfg tweaks in it as well, but that's nothing to worry about...:up:

Many thanks Vecko ! True - I didn't played yet the Med campaign. But I had encounters with great convoys - although without planes - and TWoS with SM didn't cause problems in my installation. Of course I saved the game far of these lot of ships. My PC seems love your supermod and works very well with it except my ethernal issue with the gradual up-down of the obs. scope. I'm living with it.

How does the game play treat the u-boat color in relation from the tiger stripes as to changing to the rusty color?
Is the rusty color more easily spotted by the enemy?

There are no changes to detection values. This is purely cosmetic and manipulating the dds texture files.

Would it be possible to extract "rust" files only for type VIIA boat Frank? :hmm2:
I would really like to make "rusty" VIIA standard part of TWoS expansion but in the same time, I would like also to leave players with the choice will they use your megacool rust for other U-boat types...:hmm2:

I know that interiour files are mainly common for all subs, but maybe if you could extract only outer rust for VIIA? :hmm2:That would be great...:up:

Yes Sir. I did not edit any detection values or change the way AI will behave with this mod. I am looking into creating additional options, including rusted albrecht skin(s) soon which will change detection properties and decrease noise / enemy visibility.

Conning_7A_01
Conning_7A_01_N
Uboat7A_deck
Uboat7A_deck_N
Uboat7A_structure
Uboat7A_structure_N

and as you already no doubt figured out... the file:
uboat7_body is uniform for all types in SH5.

I am just sayin , visual detection by the enemy as in real life is in the game so a darker skin is harder to see while surfaced . Sonar reduction is what you are talking about . Thankyou for the beautiful mod btw .

Hey Sober. Love your work Sir.

I did mention (decrease noise) w/ the albrecht coating plans in the future. This mod at present is purely eye candy. There are a few cfg adjustments.

Awesome! I've always thought the lights were too bright at night. Any chance the night lights can be dimmed a bit too? ;) Or does this affect them as well? I'm not in bunker so I can't enable yet, but have it set 'to do'.

The mod will change the night lighting as well, a great deal of work went into getting the lights just right. Hope you like it! Happy hunting!
