I found this wrapped up in tissue paper and hidden in the pantry about an hour ago. She says she bought it in a charity shop a while back because she "had an idea" (meaning some kind of craft project)

I said "Here's an idea... chuck it in the bin"

If it's made of brass or bronze?
The "Idea" may have been to beat you to death with it.

That is, literally, the "Oh Dear.." reminder sculpture as in "Oh dear, (when you have a spare minute) remember to pull up the old shrubs and plant the new ones". :yep:

It's ceramic with a chromed metal glaze, probably not heavy enough to beat me to death with... but it did make me feel a little ill when I first saw it

BTW, if you look closely, the deer in back is pushing the deer in front in a direction it wasn't even thinking about. :o

If you look even more closely, the deer in front is wearing its favorite football jersey and holding a remote.
