I have some kind of Ju/FW manuals here somewhere. I'll try and pull them ASAP, busy with work, and keep getting distracted by Sh4.

I'd love to see some details on the Macchi 202/205, so if anyone finds one, please let me know.

Cheers,

My absolute favorite WW2 Aircraft is the P-38.

I had the distinct pleasure of seeing two p-38's fly in my lifetime. Glacier Girl in 2002 and an older model in 1978 or so. The P-38 remains the perfect plane for me, as everything else pales in comparison.

Cheers,

Cheers,

Really, what more could you want out of an aircraft. Plenty of power, good armament and will take a beating a keep on ticking. The only problem I have with it is the low max dive speed and weak elevators in a dive.

One of the manuals I uploaded covers the aerial reconnaissance models, Very interesting reading.

Going to upload the Ju-88, FW-190, and IL2 later tonight or tommorow. These are UNTRANSLATED, well a couple JU-88's are, the Fulke and IL2 are not.

Probably a dumb question, but you guys want the Spit's as well?

Hitman 01-03-09 05:11 AM

Many thanks

I have owned only two WW2 airplane simulators so far, EAW and IL2, and have learned that to be minimally proficient with aircraft -unlike with submarines- you must concentrate in a selected few if possible. Thus I only fly the FW190 and Stuka in the german side, and the IL2 and the LA-5 or LA-7 in the soviet one. I have never liked the british fighters because they are mainly angles fighters, and I prefer the energy fight. (That's of course a personal choice, as I seem to be unable to learn different style of fighting:damn: )

Hence, if you also have the LA-5 and LA-7 manuals, I'd wellcome them also :yep:

Orion2012 01-03-09 03:08 PM

Hitman, I know I have an La-5 and a La-7. Only issue is, the only english anything I have is from a post war testing of an La-5. It covers the basics and engine performance but thats about it. The La-7 manual is the one issued to pilots, but all in Russian, and the same goes for the La-5 Maintence manual.

I have Fw-190 manual as well, again in german, as well as several for a Ju-88.

I said Authentic didn't I.

Schroeder 01-03-09 04:09 PM

Oberon 01-03-09 06:26 PM

I have one that covers both the P-40 D and E variants. I didn't realise I missed it, sorry!

I'm gonna upload these as soon as possible, wife has a "Honey do" list that stretches from here to the moon and back a few times. Hopefully, I can pack up the Ju-88's and Spit's tonight and upload the german FW-190 and IL-2's later. I also stumbled across an "Air Recon Manual" from the early 50's (F-47 Thunderbolt) It's still a very interesting read and I would highly recommend grabbing it.

edit: I'm gonna compress the Seafire manuals with the Spit's and I'm gonna compress the Fw-190's, Bf-109's and Ju-88's together,

Any Russian manuals would be good as I read Russian.

I'm uploading a new batch now. I .rar all the files by country. I also am uploading the P-40 D-E variant I missed last time. There is an article about spit's from Luftwissen in the german files if anyone want it without the german manuals let me know.

Good day.

Give it a half hour from this post for all uploads to complete.
