*There's a crunch and a pair of Sopwith Pup shaped wheels come through the ceiling.*

Dowly: Oh god, I wondered when he'd show up...

Oberon: Good moaning!

*Muffled shout from the ceiling*

That's it! No more scotch while flying! At least not while flying my own craft....hehehe, think I'll pay HunterICXs hangar a visit...

The Roof Is Now Fixed!

Don't you just hate it when you lose a good pilot? My best OFF pilot (Gary Henderson) was killed today over Arras, being shot to small little bits by at least a dozen Albatros fighters...

12 claims, 7 comfirmed kills. Been at the front for 39 days...what a bloody waste...:nope:

Oberon 02-29-08 07:45 PM

Know the feeling, I get a taste for the French landscape every time they send me out on a ground attack mission. The Bosche must have some damn good marksmen, or some cheeky bugger has drawn a target circle underneath my Sopwith Pup! Tricky getting the hang of the rudder of these kites, I seem to spend a lot of time sliding sideways, something I've never experienced before, so the first time it happened it was somewhat un-nerving. Figured it out now and can counter it, but sideways sliding at seventy feet...well...brown trousers and it wasn't caused by the fuel!

I tend never to fly lower than 3000 ft when ovr enemy territory on a ground attack mission. I don't hit much down there but then they don't hit me either and there are usually enough air targets to worry about anyway.

Balloon busting is a killer too!

Also quite annoying when you get send up in the air with two wingmen, and then you fly into a big Circus, Jasta 8 or 11 or what-have-you....

Atleast your wingmen arent suicide bombers. In MAW everytime I start a mission from Malta, I hear "JALALALLAALALLAALALAL" from the back of the line just before two of my wingmen explode. :-?

Gaaah!

Now a very promising chap named Gregory Mardell was blown to pieces over german territory. German flak. I was at aprox. 5000 feet...blimey, late war (this was January 1918) they really know how to fire those buggers!:damn:

He died on January 20th. Arrived at RFC-84 on December 1st. Been hospitalized two times.

12 claims.
4 Comfirmed. One of them a top German Ace shot down during a HUGE dogfight very long behind our own lines. It was just by the coast. Aprox. 20 Albatros vs. 4 SE5a. and 10-16 Sopwith Camels.

Dowly 03-01-08 12:11 PM

Gah, noobs. :p

Biggles 03-01-08 12:27 PM

oho? let's see if YOU can complete the OFF challenge! (Survive for 17 hours. My record is 3).

Dowly 03-01-08 12:33 PM

Shall I fly with my hands tied behind my back or just blindfolded?
