Not sure what happened not having seen the match report but WBA scored a penalty so that is what the red card was probably for.

Sir Alex Ferguson has denied Howard Webb's special treatment of Man Utd and said he'd given more cards out to his players than any other team. He further added ..

"The Birthday and Christmas cards to the whole squad are a nice touch."
