For those not knowing racing sims: Stefano Casillo is the founder of Kunos Simulazioni and was the lead programmer behind Assetto Corsa and AC Competizione (he has meanwhile left Kunos). If he indeed does realise this sailing project (of which he repeatedly has spoken of over the past years, it seems to be kind of a love affair of his), then you can take it for granted that realistic physics rank very high on the list of priorities in such a project: those who know racing sims know why I say that. And the physics of realistic interaction between water and boat and wind is a tricky, or better a complex and very dynamic thing. Not easy to get it right, I think. If somebody will, then him.
