Yeah that what ever happened to James Olson anyway? He was in a lot of stuff; solid performer and disappeared in the nineties NO obit but he'd be about 85.

I've always taken a keen interest in these "familiar faces" actors; there are loads who we are so used to, yet many people don't even know their names. Columbo was great for these, it's true.

last night I watched 'Bomber Boys', it is about Bomber Command in WW2 and THE last airworthy Lancaster Britain has the 2nd last one is in Canada. The one of two out of 7500 or so.

Tonite it will be Australia the movie. Also set in WW2 shortly after the Japs attacked Pearl Harbor and had their sights set on Darwin.

Watched Dredd last night made Sylvester Stallon's one look like spat in the park! Not bad film but the slow mo stuff was a pain.

Charlton Heston Sci-Fi double bill soon, kicking off with Soylent Green followed by The Omega Man. :yeah:

Just get my lunch ready and settle down for these two classics. :DL

Finally watching The Avengers...the Marvel one that is. Good solid film, I can see why it's a fan favourite. Will have to go through Thor and the Captain America films next, done all the Iron Man ones.

Iron Man movies were my favorite. Never did see the Thor movies but Captain America never really grabbed my interest. Same with the Hulk.

I find them all great. In my opinion they should be watched in the order they were made, mainly for the little teasers at the end of each one. :sunny:

The Marvel cinematic universe is all great. Post Iron Man.
Don't forget the series, Agents of SHIELD, Daredevil (series, not the Affleck film) and my new favourite, pleasantly brutal and augmented by David Tennant, Jessica Jones.

My copy of Mission Impossible Rogue Nation is on the way so I'm having a Mission Impossible weekend.

Kicked off last night with Mission Impossible, good film shame the ending was OTT and the other downer Jim Phelps the bad guy!

MI2 tonight and MI3 & MI Ghost Protocol for Sunday.
