Computer battery

Could this mod or FOTRS somehow shutoff my computers ability to charge battery. Could be coincidence, when I started using this mod and the other I'm stuck on a wall charger. Would be any way most of the time, but I use my ASUS ZenBook Q536 for other things. There was also a big Win10 update about then, just before turkey day. Installed new battery from manufacturer to no effect and did all the driver update and power button things. This is driving me nuts.

i don't think so. it's more likely the charger/jack or the Win10 update.
you can try the following: open device manager, first entry battery -> deinstall.
next time you start the driver will be reinstalled.

Has your battery icon disappeared from the SysTray? We had that on the one laptop, and when we would plug the charger in, the screen would go black and then we would get a re-boot. It took another Windows Update to restore things, so try another Windows Update and see if they don't have another set of files to download to your computer... PIA - the laptop was being recognized as a desktop machine and not a laptop.

Battery

Probly a bios issue, battery so low I can't work on BIOS computer says I need 20% battery.

Battery

Battery tray Says 0% (plugged in)
Machine turns off when unplugged.
Light on side of machine indicate battery more than 20%. Charger putting out correct volts.
Maybe reinstall Win10 will solve?

Does it show charging if you shut down Windows and close the laptop lid?
