This mod will allow you to "bottom" your U-boot without taking damage, so as to be able to repair damage and stop flooding while resting on the seabed without slowly destroying your U-boot.
You will have to be careful though, if your U-boot has a steep diving angle when hitting the seabed, you will take a lot of damage.
If the boat is levelled but descends too fast you will also take some light damage when hitting the bottom.
Be warned, although you won't take damage anymore for resting on the bottom, the enemy escorts will still be able to ping you. Still, I think it's better to at least have a chance against possibly inaccurate depth charges, rather than dying because your hull integrity slowly dropped to 0 only because the boat was scratching the seabed.
Installation :
Simply unzip the 2 folders in your "MODS" folder and enable with JSGME according to the installation order.
Installation order :
-for players using either "GWX 2.1 Enhanced Damage Effects" or "OLCE2 Adjusted GWX 2.1 Enhanced Damage Effects" :
1st : "GWX 2.1 Enhanced Damage Effects" or "OLCE2 Adjusted GWX 2.1 Enhanced Damage Effects"
2nd : "SRM01 - Seabed Repair Mod"
3rd : "SRM02 - Option for GWX Enhanced Damage Effects"
-if you don't use any "Enhanced Damage Effects" mod, simply install "SRM01 - Seabed Repair Mod"
... and enjoy the "Das Boot moments" (if you're lucky enough to not be DC'd to oblivion by überdestroyers)
The mod is based on modified GWX 2.1 files, it's very unlikely to work with any other "supermod" as it is.
You're free to port the changes to any other mod setup with proper credit, thanks.

This mod is fully compatible with GWX 3.0. This has been verified by comparing the files GWX 3 to GWX 2.1. Package files do not affect any file modified by GWX 3.
