File Name: LoBlo's Reduced Interface Volumes (79.50 MB) Download
Author: LoBlo (Uploaded by LoBlo)
Date Added: 03-06-20
Downloads: 79
Grade: Not Rated
Description
By LoBlo
February 23rd, 2007

Installation:
1. Backup the various Interface/.../sfx.agg files
2. Replace the stock sfx.agg files in each Interface/..../ with the packaged file
3. Recommended starting sound levels are seen in the included .jpg file

Purpose:
These changes are designed to complement Loblo's Broadband Audio changes by reducing the volume of the interface sound effects allowing the player to crank up the game sound much higher without being penalized by extra loud torpedo launches, muzzle doors, pings, etc. When added to the Broadband audio changes it really allows the BB sound to stand out more than would otherwise be possible. Expect audibly distinct sound effects to be
noticeable from you BB sonar contacts in the range of around 10-15nm for loud contacts and 3-7nm for quiet ones.
