Setting: Barents Sea Briefing: Stand your ground against one or more Soviet attack subs Installation Instructions Inside this custom mission are three files: missions_single.txt BRIEFING_single011.txt single011.txt Look for your Steam game folder. For my computer, this is the path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cold Waters\ You want to go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cold Waters\ColdWaters_Data\StreamingAssets\ and if you do not have an override folder, make one. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cold Waters\ColdWaters_Data\StreamingAssets\override\ Then inside the override folder make a folder named: language_en folder and inside that make a folder named: mission C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cold Waters\ColdWaters_Data\StreamingAssets\override\la nguage_en\mission From this custom mission rar, place the BRIEFING_single011.txt file inside the folder named: mission and then rename it single011.txt In this same mission folder place the missions_single.txt file from the archive. Navigate two levels up to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cold Waters\ColdWaters_Data\StreamingAssets\override\ Place the file single011.txt from the archive here. That should do it! You can start the game, select Single Missions and scroll down for this mission. If you are adding many new custom missions, you will want to make the file names unique and keep the correct order in the missions_single.txt file. For example, say you added this mission as single011.txt, then in the missions_single.txt file you will have The Duel In The Presence Of Wolves Action In The North Atlantic Iron Coffins Beating The Odds Skirmish In The Denmark Strait The Bastion Gambit The Narvik Caper Strike From The Sea Stalking The Red Bear Hunter...or Hunted? And if you find other custom missions and add them as single012.txt and single013.txt and so on, your missions_single.txt file should have more titles The Duel In The Presence Of Wolves Action In The North Atlantic Iron Coffins Beating The Odds Skirmish In The Denmark Strait The Bastion Gambit The Narvik Caper Strike From The Sea Stalking The Red Bear Hunter...or Hunted?
