DESIGNERS NOTE: While you are expected to attack any sub surface contacts and can feel free to do so, do not feel like you must hit them all. However for purposes of immersion being at this stage leaving reporting status to HQ cannot be done on event trigger, it is recommended to break contact with any remaining subs and then proceed to periscope depth and raise the periscope or ESM mast to simulate sending status report. This can be considered a WIN scenario after sinking at least one hostile submarine.
Due to current mission design limitations, submarines may be moving in the wrong direction due to a 50% chance of following waypoints in reverse. However there is enough in the water to ensure something is there to shoot.
Due to no possibility to save mid mission, I have moved the submarines closer to the player to avoid over extended play time requirement, although you are still required to hunt for a while. If in the case mid mission saving does come into the feature set, I will update this mission to spread out the targets.
Follow the below instructions carefully. It is recommended that you use the override folder instead of default
1) Rename the SUPPLIED Single011.txt in the root of override to the next available number in the mission sequence.
2) In the SUPPLIED language_en\mission folder the single011.txt file needs to be renamed to match the filename from the outcome of step 1.
3) In YOUR language_en\mission folder the missions_single.txt file needs to be opened and updated to add Gatekeeper to the final position in the list.
4) Once these changes have been made, copy the updated files from step 1 and 2 to their matching locations in your override directory.
