The ECOPTC is a program written by Kim Rønhof that can convert a plain text message into enciphered text. And, of course, the reverse action - decipher an enciphered message. The ECOPTC uses a simulation of the CSP888/889 (the coding machine that was used on US subs in WW II)
The manual is inside. Just make a UTIL folder in My Documents or extract it to a folder of your choice (not Program Files or Program Files (x86).
With the exception of the calendar, the program itself works fine.
The calendar displays a little funny in Win 7, but if you click around near specific dates they will appear. Could try compatibility mode, it displayed correctly under XP and previous versions of Windows.
