I have always used this tool but i have been away from gaming for along time and i have read the guide but when i extract from zip its just a folder and when i click on the icon it just runs without any install tool to select anything so looks like I just drag and drop the JSGME folder in ubisoft/sh5 dunno.
I dont remember how I used to get this to work. I know how to use it but i cannot get it setup . Not sure how I did it before . There is no install its just a folder with the icon which runs but there is not setup installer.
I am lost. I did read the guide and I have use this many thousands of times before and have used many mods with it before so after being away for along time I think i have forgot how to set it up or its not working dunno.

Why is there not one install setup video on youtube?
there are only videos on using mods with it which is easy but no setup videos.

Try this...

Download JSGME.

Create a new folder on desktop.

Move the unzipped JSGME to the new folder.

Unzip the file in your new folder then go into the newly created JSGME folder.

Copy the JSGME .exe and go paste it into your games directory.

Now double click on the JSGME .exe and it will create a MODS folder.

You can close out of the enabler. Move the mods that you want to the newly created MOD's folder within your game directory. Now when you double click the JSGME .exe you will see your mod(s) there on the left and ready to enable.

I hope this helps somebody.

May I ask for some assistance? I can't seem to get my mods to work? I have followed the instructions but there is one thing I am unsure of and i feel that may be the issue.
In order to keep track of the mods, I have moved the whole folder into the MODS folder. For example, when i downloaded the Less Airstrikes mod, I moved the whole folder over rather than just the Data file. This means i know what each mod is. However is this ok or do just need the DATA file?
i am confused as they are showing up fine in JSGME but the are not enabling in the game. I know this because I am using things like Bang For your Buck and Bofors and none of them are showing in game.
Any help would be appreciated

Really dumb question.

I wanted to mod SH4. Downloaded falloftherisingsun.rar file. I believe the installation went fine.

How do I know the mod is in place. I'm still running the sh4.exe file to play the game, correct? When doing that, I don't see any great changes. Maybe I'm not looking in the right areas?
