Changelog: fixed an issue with the knotmeter in the sonar/hydrophone room. Now it reads the correct speed on the 0-24kts scale.
Slightly improved precision of the 400m gauge in Control Room.
ver. 0.1
This is the first release of my depth gauge mod.
Basically, it changes the 260m and the 25m stock dials located in the control room, conning tower and hydrophone station wiht 400m and 50m ones, respectivley. The textures are the same used on type XXI u baots in SH3 and type XVIII prototype in SH4. They were prsent in SH5 game.
I understand it is pretty useless to have a 400 meters depth dial on submarines that can't go past 250...but I made it anyway...so everyone who likes deep dives and unrealistic modding will be satisfied.
It is not perfect, of course, (precision leaves much to desire, and there is a shiny effect a bit to strong). I hope to have enought time to refine this in the future, but no promises!
Installaion:
It's JSGME compatible, just unzip into your MODS folder and you should be ready to go..
Compatibility:
This mod is not compatible with anything that changes gauges textures, and /or:
Room_CR, Room_CT, Room_QR1 .sim files.
Feel free to use this mod as you like, but give proper credits if you include this in another mod. Thanks.
Andycaccia.

Awesome work !!! Actually some submarines like VII/C 41 and Type XXI did have this type of depth gauge Couple of years ago i saw this type of gauge in a movie from 1950s One question - Can you make the same gauge but for the hud it will be awesome , bringing SH3 style to the game ...
I have no experience in Hud editing, I'm sorry...but I guess it could be done by somebody who has already made some hud dials. Besides I should modify their works, which may be problematic due to "copyright".
