OK, here's a basic test mission with a single target at sufficient range that you can set him up with radar before he detects you. Go decks awash to do that.
First plot two positions three minutes apart. The number of hundred yards between those two is his speed in knots: 900 yards equals 9 knots. Connecting the two points and extending in his direction of travel establishes his course. Now you have all the target information you need to execute the attack.
Put your boat in position and put him on the bottom!

Wasn't able to load this at first. Got it to load by changing the extension of file .mis to .misge. This is now showing up in Historical Missions by placing the immediate parent folder of the .misge and .tsr files in data/SingleMissions folder.
I've tried the 3 min method for determining speed, and and I'm almost always slow by about a knot. When Dicky says "yards", I assumed he meant meters. Anybody know if the 3 min method needs to be in yards?
