Description
Operation Monsun
Version 705/720

For “Operation Monsun” (OM) version 705, there have been additional major changes and additions to the campaign layers that began in OM V700. These additional upgrades and changes encompass major naval operations by the Royal Navy in the North Atlantic, British Isles, North Sea, Bay of Biscay, and Norway. The naval operations that have been added are based on the assumption that there is a least a 50 percent chance or better that you as an Uboat commander will encounter these naval operations during one of your missions. Using “Chronology of the War at Sea, 1939-1945” and War Diaries from the Royal Navy as a master reference here is a list of the changes:

Air Warfare:

Complete rewrite of RAF Coastal Command Airbases and Aircraft assignments.

Naval Warfare:

As with the earlier Black Sea Campaign, “Operation Weserübung” (The German Invasion of Norway) and the follow on operations of the British & French Navies in 1940 were woefully inaccurate. In OM V705, this early war campaign has been completely rewritten and provides the user with a more historically accurate recreation of the various naval operations and patrol areas assign to Uboats as part of “Operation HARTMUTH”

Uboat Warfare:

A new start options has been added that will recreate the initial deployment of Uboats from German (Kiel) to forward bases in France and Norway.

The start dates for “BdU deployment to France” are:

September 1st 1940, December 1st 1940 , February 1st 1941, July 1st 1941, December 25th 1941, March 1st 1942, June 1st 1942, October 1st 1942, January 1st 1943, April 1st 1943, August 15th 1943, October 1st 1943, February 1st 1944

The start dates for “BdU deployment to Norway” are:

September 15 1941, February 1st 1942, July 1st 1942, October 1st 1942, April 1st 1943, August 15th 1943, February 1st 1944

Once you have selected one of these start dates, you will be then to select a either Type VII or IX, and next to each Uboat Type you will see the Flotilla that you’re going to be assigned to. Once the deployment mission starts you will “automatically” be transferred to your new Flotilla / base within five days of mission start (watch for the “anchor icon” to change).

OM V705 to V720 Upgrade

For “OM V705 to V720 Upgrade” there have been additional changes and additions to the campaign layers that began in OM V700/V705. These additional upgrades and changes encompass major naval operations by the Royal Navy in Norway during Operation Weserübung, the English Channel during Operation Dynamo and Operation Torch.

when i install this mod (via mod enabler - i have the 7.05 mod before enabled) my U-mark is gone, why? i want to play with the umark, not without them.

i try to put the umark back inside this mod "OMv705_to_V720"

Data/Misc/UMark.dds.

But when i play later, the Umark is also invisible.. WHY? Tell me how can i get the umark back, because something in this Mod here deactivate the Umark, but i dont like this option - i am not the Reality Freak like others.

thanks.

please let the user decide what he wants and what not.

If someone dont wanna play with the umark he can easily put it out from the Data/Misc.

So please tell me - what i have to do to reactivate the Umark inside this mod, otherwise i dont wanna play it with "720", cause this makes no sence and fun for me.
