This is the USN Montana class BB concept. This was to be a class of 5 battleships. With 20 5" guns 12 16" guns many light and heavy AA guns and heavy armor they would have been a force to contend with. updated 8/11/2009

"Sorry! You have exceeded your daily allowed download amount.
We have a daily limit because with hundreds of members downloading every day, it can get pretty expensive for us.
Become an officer in the Subsim Navy here and have your download limit increased to 25, 35 or even 60 a day! You will be supporting SUBSIM, the Internet's main source for sub games, files, and discussion since 1997. We were here for you, help us out a little.
A website this big uses a lot of bandwidth and needs a really powerful server to stay online day after day, for 15 years. Thanks for the support!
If you joined this forum a long time ago, and you've never posted or have not posted in a long time (over a year), this could shut off downloads for you. Solution: make a post somewhere in the forum. This post will be placed in the moderation que, and after 24 hours or less the forum will automatically enable downloads for you again. We have to do this to prevent spammers from joining, waiting a few months and then bombarding the forum with ads for Vie-gra, etc.
When you sign up to Subsim, we encourage you to be an active member of the forum community. That means making at least 1 post and introduce yourself. You, you're an interesting guy--you like submarine games, history, and computers. Make a post, we want you to be part of the Subsim crowd!
