Default Fleet Command, Steam edition, map view laggy/jerky...

Hey folks. I've noticed only a couple other people with this problem, and I wonder if anyone's found a solution. When I'm in anything but full 3d view mode, the game is slow and jerky. When I hit F3 and go to fullscreen 3d, though, it's fine. Weird, eh? I'm running a 64-bit quad core, 8 GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GTX 295.

Thanks!

It seems you have to use a glide wrapper to run in 3dfx mode with newer nvidia cards/drivers.

It may be the drivers because after the 186 or so version they broke some older games.

Mine also runs choppy in 2d map. Glide wrapper works and fast. No crashes either.

Search for nglide or dgvoodoo.
