Any way to get a newer boat in a career?
I started from the beginning with the starting U-boat. I have been upgrading it but it is 1942 is there any way to get a better (newer) boat?

There is only one type of uboat in the game currently. The game is set for one more large update to coincide with the full release this year and the dev's have stated they would like to add more uboats post release but i guess sales may dictate whether that happens or not.

I made it into the Mediterranean and thought I’d visit the Port of Tunis to fuel up. I zoomed in looking for the port entrance and I saw clip art very similar to this work in progress.
I got a kick outta that. Really enjoying this sim. Since the game is on the clock, I’m wondering if the final mission will be to pick up a load of gold, a couple of shadowy figures and escape to Argentina. |

I've played it on and off since it first came out. It's night and day from what it was like in 2019, really looking forward to seeing what's in the final update and also what happens with it post release.
It's also very mod friendly so will be very interesting to see what mods pop up after it leaves early access. It wasn't so long ago that the sub sim era looks dead on the water, hopefully it makes enough sales to fund continued development for a long time. |
