Default [REL] Regia Marina DUILIO class battleship (GWX only version)

Hi everyone! I'm glad to release my 15° ship: CAIO DUILIO class italian battleship!

http://www.sendspace.com/file/qri91a

Special thanks to Gerome, who authorized me to use his BB Roma, a optimal base for this work.
Thanks also to evan82, BBW and Buhring (beta testers) and subsim community for the help in developing with impressions and suggestions!

NOTE: this version is GWX3.0-only compatible, just because she use Privateer's GWX 381 italian guns (he's working on 320 guns); if you try to use her in a nonGWX installation, main guns will be missed. BTW a non-GWX version is avaiable at http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=147236

Great stuff VD
Is the any chance of anyone making a mod that adds her into the campaign?
Like BBW has done with your Warspite, SS Rex, Lanconia and San Gerogio (sp)

Hi mate.
No worries is it a shame you seem to be the only guy that adds the ships into the game.
I just love to see Ships in the game where they were Historically in real life.
I feel like a right twat every time a new ship is released and i ask the same question.
( Does this need adding in the campaign to show up in game.)
As i know that you will come along and say yep and here it is.
I feel like a pestering git. Who is not satisfied with the release of a great new unit.
Just wish i had the brains to do it myself but if you remember as i do a few years back the fiasco that was you helping me to add the Graf Zeppelin to a harbor. Well i think its best i leave the campaign files well alone and leave them to the pros.

So no worries at all mate, as i cant really run the game the way i like at the moment as my rig is slowly coming to the end of its life.

Cheers for the offer Jim
Have been doing a little looking around at what she got up to during the war and so far this is what i have come up with.

She was present and damaged at the battle of Taranto.
Which led to her being towed to Genoa for repairs which took 6 months.
Then the next thing i can find is that she was Part of the close covering force at the first battle of Sirte .
Have had a quick look through the GWX manual and this battle is not scrpited into the game.
Wikipedia info on the battle.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Battle_of_Sirte

Close covering force - Rear Admiral Raffaele de Courten (on Duca d'Aosta):Distant covering force - Rear Admiral Angelo Parona (on Gorizia):Then when the armistice with the allies was signed in 1943 she was used as a training ship but i cant seem to find out where she was based.

Here she is with elements of the Italian fleet (Roma, Giuseppe Garibaldi, Vittorio Veneto, Duca Degli Abruzzi, Littorio etc) at La Spezia in June 43....I've sent you a PM to what you were after

Looking forward to the screenshots
