Perhaps it's an issue regarding file paths or language? I use a German Windows 7 and have installed SH5 into "c:\silent hunter 5".
Only suggestion I can offer is like previously said to Alt-Tab out of game (Even better run it in windowed mode) and see if there is an error being reported.
Other than than anyone that has experience running Modding Mode in Sh5 can go into the script manager and see if any scripts are being deactivated.

I did the alt tab and for sh5 it was a blank box with a small round sh5 emblem in the corner and a small line(courser) I dont know if it helpful or not . i also did it in window mode and got no error and the box with the picture of the woman at start up.

v4.14 works for me.

I will test 5.02 out here soon to check for any errors popping up on my desk top.

Hi Reaper7

I just try your new UI, but, unable to launch the game there are three pages of errors :

If this can help you

Info:
AMD Phenom II x4 940 3.00Ghz/ 4 GB
Windows 7 (64-bit)
resolutie: 1680 x 1050
GeForce GTX 560 Ti (8.17.12.8562)

1st test

With all the MODS it gives an UI error.
Same as @sidmo001
-------------
If you disable all the MODS with JSGME the error is gone.
-
------------
If you enable only the UI-boat 5.02 you see the same error.
(Start with a load mission(error) and with the historical mission(error))
(I think the Attack Disk is blokking the buttons on the left.)
------------------------
2nd test
Delete everthing and install it with only the patch 1.2 and the MOD 5.02.
(UI error agian.)
--------------
Disable it again and its work.
(So it is no JGSME bug)
-----------
enable ui 4.14 and ui 5.02.
(error )
-------
END of testing

Can anyone running V5.02 when ingame Alt-Tab out of the game, you should see a error message from the script manager - stating whats causing the error.
Perhaps something in the download archive is missing? Can you try to test your mod with a version you downloaded?

Do i need this MOD R.E.M_by_Xrundel_TheBeast_1.2 after the UI-Boat MOD?
It gives a lot of conflicts.

I can't even see any icon... but it means that there is no attack disc?
