Operation Bold Mariner - Ukraine Mission 2 It's Saturday, 25 February, 2022. Joe Biden is the American President, 'We Don't Talk About Bruno' by Encanto is number one on the U.S. charts and the top movie at the box office is 'Uncharted'. One of the navy's oldest submarines, USS Newport News (SSN 750), has been given 'dispensation' (under the terms of the Montreux Convention (1936)) to enter the Black Sea on the proviso that the submarine surrender her BSY-1 fire control hardware. Due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, those exercises have been suspended and Newport News is docked at Samsun Naval Base, where the Black Sea Fleet have been told she will be conducting "Independent Exercises". NOTES. This mission is set at the beginning of the 2022 Russo-Ukrainian War. Made with RA 1.50.3 - it should also be 'upwardly compatible' with later versions.
